I hope you and your family have been enjoying your summer! My summer has been wonderful so far. I've been able to spend time with family taking short vacations and seeing a lot of live music, my favorite thing to do! Before we know it the State Fair will be here!
Summer Mailing
Our summer mailing, which includes placement, meal, and transportation information, is scheduled to go out on Wednesday, August 21st so you should receive it by that Friday or Saturday. It is possible that your child's teacher will be noted as TBD (To Be Determined). The reason for this is that a couple of our grade levels currently have an enrollment that may require us to add an additional section. Rather than assign teachers now, and then have to reassign teachers later, we feel it is best to hold off until we are sure. Students come and go throughout the summer so we want to make sure we have the most accurate information before proceeding. Please do not worry, we have several excellent candidates in mind should we need to add any additional sections.

Tuesday, August 27th - Kindergarten Orientation, 9:00 am
Wednesday, August 28th - New Student (1-5) Orientation, 9:00 am
Wednesday, September 4th - 1st Day of School (Half Day, 11:30 Dismissal)
Thursday, September 5th - 1st Full Day of School; Ice Cream Social at 6:00 pm
Thursday, September 12th - Curriculum Night for Parents/Guardians
Tuesday, September 17th - PTA Meeting, 6:30 pm
Friday, September 27th - Jogathon
